US health officials say a pharmacist at a medical device company has died of a diabetic stroke.

Officials at the Mexico-US border say there are no signs of drugs in the body of a pharmacoepidemiologist who was taken into custody by border patrol officials on Friday.
A source close to the situation told the Associated Press news agency the US medical examiner’s office has been notified of the death.
It is not clear whether the US or Mexico will pay the medical costs of the doctor.
