A family pet pharmacy technician is on the job in PetSmarts PetCity.
In a letter sent to pet owner families, PetSmart PetCity has sent a warning letter to families about pet pharmacy technicians working in the PetCity stores.
Pet owners can expect to see pet pharmacy specialists working in PetCity Pharmacy at home, on the phone and online, while in the store.
In a PetCity pharmacy technician’s letter to the PetOwner, PetCity said that a PetSmart pharmacy technician working in their store is required to be licensed in accordance with the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and to abide by all rules and regulations, including the PetSmart Pharmacy Therapist Certification Program (PTCP) and PetSmart Drug Certification Program Certification Program.
The PetSmart website also recommends that PetSmart pet pharmacy equipment is inspected and approved by PetSmart.
PetSmart is not the only retailer that requires a PetOwner to take this training.

PetSmartPetCity, a pet pharmaceutical company, has been operating in PetTown for more than 40 years.
PetCity’s PetCity pharmacists work for a fixed price of $25 per hour.
The company’s Pet Pharmacy Technician Training program, the PTCP, requires Petowners to take a drug education course and a Pet Pharmacist Certification Program certification test to be approved.
Pet Pharmacists are required to take and pass a drug knowledge test.
PetTech has received positive reviews for its PetPharmacy Technician training program, which includes drug knowledge testing and an examination of pet pharmacy skills.
